En medio de tus actividades diarias, tus esfuerzos por crecer y tu deseo genuino de mantenerte conectado…
¿te has sentido agotado por la censura en las redes sociales?
¿por la forma en que ciertas personas e instituciones han influido —y siguen influyendo— en la población, manipulando incluso tu percepción durante lo que se llamó «pandemia»?

Es común escuchar que el crimen, el tráfico de armas o las drogas representan lo que es la tecnología descentralizada o la cadena de bloques. Pero eso sería como juzgar a todas las personas que se alimentan de plantas basándose únicamente en una noticia aislada —quizás sensacionalista— sobre un solo caso, sin considerar que decenas mueren cada minuto por causas verdaderamente insalubres.

La verdad es esta: las guerras, el narcotráfico y todo aquello vinculado al culto de la muerte se financian con dinero fiat… no con bitcoin.

 En 2023, junto con otros usuarios, descubrí el potencial del protocolo Nostr: una herramienta descentralizada, resistente a la censura y capaz de permitirnos reconocernos mutuamente mediante pequeñas unidades de bitcoin (sats). Su simple existencia ha generado incomodidad en quienes buscan mantener el control sobre la información y frenar iniciativas humanitarias. Tanto así, que si escribes la palabra «Nostr» en plataformas centralizadas como YouTube o Facebook —lugares que exigen datos personales solo para dejarte participar—, sus algoritmos suelen ocultar o bloquear inmediatamente tu mensaje. Censuran, precisamente, para evitar que quienes aún duermen… despierten.

Hoy publiqué en una de esas mismas plataformas —a la que ingresé hace quince años— un mensaje sencillo: invité a quienes leen a explorar formas de apoyarnos mutuamente, abriendo espacio para la curiosidad y ofreciendo una vía directa para resolver dudas.

Amid your daily activities, your efforts to grow, and your genuine wish to stay connected…
have you grown weary of censorship on social media?
Of the way certain individuals and institutions have influenced — and continue to influence — the public, shaping even your own perception during what was called the “pandemic”?

It’s common to hear that crime, arms trafficking, or drugs represent what decentralised technology or blockchain truly is. But that would be like judging everyone who eats a plant-based diet based solely on a single, perhaps sensationalist, news story about one person — while ignoring the dozens who die every minute from genuinely unhealthy causes.

 The truth is this: wars, drug cartels, and everything tied to the cult of death are funded with fiat money… not with bitcoin.

In 2023, together with other users, I discovered the potential of the Nostr protocol: a decentralised, censorship-resistant tool that enables us to support one another through tiny units of bitcoin (sats). Its very existence has unsettled those who seek to control information and hinder humanitarian initiatives. So much so, that if you type the word “Nostr” on centralised platforms like YouTube or Facebook —spaces that demand personal data just to let you participate— their algorithms often instantly hide or block your message. They censor, precisely to keep those still asleep… from waking up.

Today, I posted on one of those same platforms —which I joined fifteen years ago— a simple invitation: to explore ways we can support each other, leaving room for curiosity and offering a direct channel for questions.

Mitten in deinem Alltag, deinen Bemühungen, dich weiterzuentwickeln, und deinem echten Wunsch, verbunden zu bleiben …
fühlst du dich müde von der Zensur in sozialen Medien?
Von der Art und Weise, wie bestimmte Personen und Institutionen die Öffentlichkeit beeinflusst haben — und immer noch beeinflussen —, um sogar deine eigene Wahrnehmung während dessen, was man „Pandemie“ nannte, zu formen?

Man hört oft, Kriminalität, Waffenhandel oder Drogen stünden für das, was dezentrale Technologie oder Blockchain wirklich sei. Doch das wäre, als würdest du alle Menschen, die sich pflanzlich ernähren, anhand einer einzigen, vielleicht sensationslüsternen Nachricht über eine Person beurteilen — und dabei ignorieren, dass Dutzende jede Minute an wirklich ungesunden Ursachen sterben.

Die Wahrheit ist diese: Kriege, Drogenkartelle und alles, was mit dem Kult des Todes verbunden ist, werden mit Fiat-Geld finanziert … nicht mit Bitcoin.

 2023 entdeckte ich gemeinsam mit anderen Nutzern das Potenzial des Nostr-Protokolls: ein dezentrales, zensurbeständiges Werkzeug, das es uns ermöglicht, uns gegenseitig durch winzige Einheiten von Bitcoin (Sats) zu unterstützen. Allein seine Existenz hat jene verunsichert, die Informationen kontrollieren und humanitäre Initiativen behindern wollen. So sehr, dass Algorithmen auf zentralisierten Plattformen wie YouTube oder Facebook — Orte, die persönliche Daten verlangen, nur damit du teilnehmen darfst — deine Nachricht oft sofort ausblenden oder blockieren, sobald du das Wort „Nostr“ schreibst. Sie zensieren gezielt, um zu verhindern, dass diejenigen, die noch schlafen … aufwachen.
